2019-2020 Code of Conduct

Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s):

We are honored to have the opportunity to work with such amazing students and staff at Erie Middle School and we appreciate your partnership in supporting our students to be positive global achievers and future leaders. We have had an outstanding start to the year, and our students are shining in the classroom and in the halls with their positive R.O.A.R.S. behaviors.

During this week, we visited each classroom to talk with all of our students about the St. Vrain Valley Schools Behavioral Code of Conduct and the Rights and Responsibilities of Students and Parents. Visiting classrooms and talking with the students about the Code of Conduct is an important step in our communication so that students understand that we care about them, their safety and well-being here at EMS.  Students received the St. Vrain Valley Behavioral Code of Conduct and the Rights and Responsibilities of Students and Parents book and were asked to bring that home to share with you. We ask that you take some time to familiarize yourself with this publication so that if your students have any questions or concerns you can be a resource for them as well as the EMS staff.

Here is the link to the (Code of Conduct English) and (Code of Conduct Spanish)  that is also located on the district's website.

We need you to take this important step and complete the Digital Signature and Acknowledgement for each student you have at Erie Middle School. Your partnership is valuable and we need to be sure you are fully aware of our systems of operation in the St. Vrain Valley School District.

If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us here at the school.

Thank you,
