Superintendent’s Update

Dear St. Vrain Valley Community,

The past few months in St. Vrain Valley Schools have been full of outstanding activities and incredible student, teacher, and staff achievements. Every day, our students earn new awards, academic accomplishments, visual and performing arts recognitions, athletic championships, and many more successes that exemplify excellence across St. Vrain.

Earlier this month, our district received two awards thanks to our incredible students, teachers, staff, and greater community. St. Vrain Valley Schools was recognized by the Boulder Chamber as the Innovative Business of the Year, and also recognized by the Longmont Economic Development Partnership with the Chair’s Choice Award for being an important asset in the community that is contributing to Longmont’s economic development. It is through the unwavering commitment and dedication of our community that we continue to receive recognition for the high-quality opportunities we provide for students to engage deeply in their learning and personal growth.

From state robotics titles, to military academy appointments, to schoolwide design challenges, to prestigious scholarship awards, and more, our students and schools embody what we call a #StVrainStorm – our shared passion and commitment to advancing academic excellence and student success. This month’s edition of The Newsroom features stories of our teachers, staff, business partners, students, and families contributing to our community’s #StVrainStorm of success.

The momentum and activity across our schools will only continue to elevate as we move closer to this year’s graduation, and we look forward to our students’ continued success. Thank you for your unwavering support as we continue to take public education by #StVrainStorm.

Sincerely,
Don Haddad, Ed.D.
