Science Tables
Mr. Harris got his new tables! Thank you to all the parents who donated during our fall fundraiser and THANK YOU to our amazing PTO!!!!!!!

Hello Tiger Families!

Holy Cow! How is it already April?!?! We have so much going on for our students, and we are working hard to support our students in finishing the year strong.

Please take some time to read over the CMAS communication I sent earlier today. There is some important info about our testing schedule and some key tips to make sure students are ready to do their best.

We have a home track meet on Monday, April 1st, and we would love to see a good crowd come to support our athletes.

Also, parents, please take a moment to check out the Recent Updates section of our newsletter each week. This is where a lot of our information is posted.

CMAS Snack Drive!

So far, the Duck hat is in the lead! See info below to find out how to “vote” for a different hat.

During CMAS we like to provide students with a snack during their assessment time. We know we have lots of parents that look for opportunities to donate to our efforts, so we are running a SNACK DRIVE this week and next week to collect single-serving snack options that we can distribute during CMAS.

We are looking for donations of the following single-serving/individually- packaged snack items:

  • Goldfish crackers
  • Granola bars
  • Trail Mix
  • Mini-muffins
  • Fruit leather
  • Fruit snacks
  • Pretzels
  • Energy bars or Protein bars
  • Cheese Sticks
  • Cutie Oranges
  • Apple slices
  • Crackers
  • Fruit bars (Nutri-grain, etc.)
  • Gluten-free snack options
  • Any other individual snack ideas you have 🙂

Simply have your student drop off the snacks in the main office.

And, let’s add a little fun…whichever drop off bucket your student puts their snacks in becomes a “vote” for the type of hat that Mr. Tomasek will wear during CMAS testing sessions. Will it be a ducky-bucket hat, a shiny goal $$ hat, or a poop emoji hat? Let’s have some fun with it!

AAA Session 3

Yellow starburst that says Attendance Matters! White wording that is on the left of the graphic that says Attend Today, Achieve Tomorrow

If you plan on leaving early for Spring Break please remember to fill out our google form ahead of time.

If your student is absent for a full day, you have 24-48 hours to call in with the reason for the absence, after that it will be marked unexcused. Per board policy, if a student is absent 10 days excused or not, absences will begin to be marked “unexcused” unless previously noted and approved by school administration or there is a doctor’s note provided to the school.

Extended Absences: Please notify the school at least 2 weeks prior to any extended absences via our Google form. You and your student will also need to sign off on our “Extended Absence Form” located in our front office. This form helps students and parents understand how to communicate with teachers and make up schoolwork after the absence.

If you know your student will be absent, tardy or checking out of school please fill out this Google form.

Please provide the school with a note from the doctor, orthodontist, dentist, therapist, or any appointment each time you go.
