Summer Programs

St. Vrain Valley Schools offers robust summer programming options to keep students engaged in their academic learning.

Erie Middle School Step Up Program

Erie Middle School is excited to once again offer our optional Step Up program for 5th graders who will be attending our school as incoming 6th grade students during the 2024-25 school year.  We understand that some students and families can feel uncertain about what transition from elementary school to middle school may hold, and our hope is to give our students the opportunity to spend time in the school to increase their comfort and skills prior to the first day.  This program is designed for students who might need a little additional support and encouragement to help them have a successful start to the new school year. We will work to build foundational skills and confidence in reading, writing, math, and organization.

There is no cost associated with this program, however, space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Jumpstart will be held August 5th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Details are forthcoming regarding the transportation that will be provided. If you have further questions regarding our Step Up program, please call Sara Raver at 303-828-3391.

Project Launch Middle School

Project Launch Middle School is a four-week, 16-day summer focus program for current sixth and seventh grade students. The program provides an opportunity for students to master grade level content in math and language arts, and participate in STEM extension activities. Students attend at no cost to families.

Career Development Center Camps

The Career Development Center is offering summer programming for incoming seventh and eighth grade students taking place over four days the third week of June (June 14 -17). Students can choose from the following pathways – Agriscience, Welding and Fabrication, Automotive Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, and Health Sciences. Morning (9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.) and afternoon (12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.) sessions are available.

Innovation Academy and SuperSTEM Camps

The Innovation Center of St. Vrain Valley Schools offers innovative, hands-on learning experiences that engage and challenge students and incorporate human-centered design thinking. Camps are taught primarily by student designers and teachers from the Innovation Center, and offer a wide-range of fun STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) activities.
